The handset from search giant will come with a very new and improved operating system. LG Nexus 5 with KitKat 4.4 release date is almost set for Oct 14. But Google is keeping mum
Nexus 5 release date rumors are going viral. Though search giant Google has to speak out a single word about it, reports suggest that the company is all set to release the smartphone as early as October. But we shouldn’t conclude anything as of now as prediction about Google’s products are rather difficult. Unlike the past Google has started keeping its next version handsets and tablets well guarded secret to keep people excited about them.
The next version will be not just a lot better than the existing Google Nexus version or Nexus 4, but reports suggest that it may be better than Korean tech giant Samsung’s flagship handset Galaxy S4.
If rumors are to be believed than Google’s next-generation Nexus 5 smartphone is going to give sleepless nights to arch rivals Apple and Samsung. Speculations are rife that the company has developed the smartphone in such a manner that it will eat into a sizeable chunk of the market following its launch.
Believed to be a high end phone, unlike its predecessor Nexus 4 that came with a modest price tag, Nexus 5 would be equipped with best-in-class graphics performance thus giving a stiff fight to the Android devices.
In a set of reports that emerged recently, it was stated that Nexus 5 outperformed the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4 and other top Android phones in gaming simulations and clocked in with a score of 23.1 frames per second, outperforming the Sony Xperia Z1, LG G2, the Galaxy S4, HTC One and Apple”s iPhone 5.
Believed to be launched towards the end of October, it is speculated that it will come with a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 resolution using Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology. The mid to high-range phone is believed to pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor chip, a 13 megapixel camera with unique shooting features/ 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 2 or 3 GB of RAM, 2700mAh battery. The device will be running the all new Android 4.4 KitKat mobile operating system. Packed with the Adreno 330 GPU, the device is reportedly built by LG and inspired from LG G2 in the looks department.
