Smartwatches and Google glass do we really need them?

Once upon a time when personal computers were introduced. People thought that's the ultimate technology. Then came the era of smartphones. And personal computers is a bygone era. Now you can do everything that one can do in the computer in a phone. Next is what?
It's time to bid adieu to smartphones because smartwatches and Google glass are on their way. Infact already in the market. But do we really need them?

If you go back in time, phones were created to communicate with each other. Then due to high competition and rapid growth in technology phones got smart and became smartphones, thus outsmarting living things. As they say history repeats it will be the same with smartwatches and Google glass. It is introduced as a remote to your phone. Lets not forget smartphones are remotes. Hence Smartwatches are a remote to the remote. Our phone's will be right in our pockets why don't we just pick it up and use it?
As we all know every company is releasing their own Smartwatch. That means increased competition and just to make their company stand out manufacturers will stuff in every possible tech they have and probably by next year smartwatches will outsmart smartphones. And smartwatches and Google glass will dominate the mobile device market.

The dependency on these gadgets is increasing. Considering today's advances in technology anything and everything is possible.But one thing is for sure.Gadgets were built to substitute one's brain. But not far from now our gadgets will be our brains.
